Instructions

First create your contest video and then upload it to YouTube. To upload to YouTube, you need a Google account. If you don't have a Google account, it's easy to create one and then upload a video to YouTube. Here's information on creating a Google Account to sign into YouTube. A Google Account works across all Google products (e.g., Gmail, Blogger, Maps, YouTube, and more), so you may already have one. Here's a tutorial on uploading a video to YouTube.

Step 1: Click on the orange "Enter Your 1-Minute Video by April 20, 2016" button on the contest homepage.

Step 2: If you are not logged into Google or YouTube, you will next need to click on the blue "Sign in" button on the top right of the YouTube page. Then return to the contest playlist.

Step 3: Once signed in, find the blue bar at the top of the page that says "* Add to this playlist as YOUR NAME". Then click "Continue" on the far right of the blue bar.

Step 4: Click on the "Add videos" button on the right.

Step 5: In the "Add video to playlist" screen that opens, click on "Your YouTube videos".

Step 6: Click on your contest entry video and it will save to the contest playlist, where the judges will be able to see it.
